          Description

DiW Factory Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711 All Carbon Black Matte Orange

An uncompromising exercise in composite materials, successfully marrying the ultra-lightweight properties of NTPT carbon with the iconic 5711 silhouette.

          Powered by Clone Caliber 324

The engine driving this modification is the widely utilized Clone Caliber 324. While it does not feature the free-sprung Gyromax balance found in the genuine article, it provides reliable timekeeping and is decorated to mimic Patek Philippe’s finishing standards. The bridges exhibit proper côtes de Genève striping, and the baseplate features circular graining (perlage), visible through the sapphire exhibition case back.

          ⏱ Accuracy Profile:

Standard clone base movement: ±10–15 s/day. Regulation prior to dispatch ensures optimal amplitude and beat error within acceptable mechanical tolerances.

          • ✅ Power Reserve: Approximately 36 hours
          • ✅ Complications: Hours, minutes, sweep seconds, and date display
          • ✅ Winding Direction: Unidirectional

          Technical Notice: Clone 324 Movement

The replica market currently produces only the Clone 324 movement. Even if movement bridges are engraved 330, the mechanism operates as Clone 324.

Practical implication: The seconds hand does not stop when setting the time. This is correct behavior for this movement and ensures maximum long-term stability.

          Technical Specifications

          THE BUILDNTPT Carbon Fiber

The case, side ears, and case back outer ring are forged from high-density carbon. It maintains a 40.0mm diameter (measured 10 to 4 o’clock) and is strictly controlled to an 8.5mm thickness.

          THE DIALMatte Hermes Orange

Features a heavy ink spray finish instead of traditional metallic brushing. The 3D baton markers and hands are fully blacked-out and filled with specialized Super-LumiNova.

          THE BEZELForged Carbon Fiber

Exhibits a unique, non-repeating marbled cloud pattern. The dark matte gray-black tone provides a stark visual contrast against the highly saturated orange dial.

          THE BRACELETCarbon & Steel Hybrid

Combines the structural rigidity of stainless steel with the cloud-like texture of carbon fiber links, secured by a standard Patek-style deployant clasp.

Why DiW Factory for This Reference?

Many collectors ask: Why not stick with a standard 3KF or PPF 5711?

While 3KF produces an excellent clone movement for standard steel models, DiW Factory specializes in aftermarket composite modifications. No other factory has mastered the NTPT carbon forging process for the Nautilus case with this level of structural integrity, achieving the crucial 8.5mm thickness while reducing the weight to roughly one-third of the steel counterpart. To understand how we evaluate these specialized materials, review .

Full Disclosure: Due to the lower density of carbon fiber compared to stainless steel, the rotor on the clone 324 movement can be audibly louder during rapid wrist movements, as the composite material provides less acoustic dampening.

          Collector Q&A

Q: How does the weight of this DiW carbon 5711 compare to a standard steel Nautilus?

A: The NTPT carbon fiber construction reduces the overall weight to approximately one-third of a standard stainless steel 5711, making it exceptionally light and comfortable for extended wear.

Q: Is the orange dial finished with a traditional sunburst effect?

A: No, this specific DiW modification utilizes a highly saturated Hermes Orange dial with a matte heavy ink spray finish, deliberately abandoning traditional metallic brushing for a modern, high-contrast aesthetic.

Q: Are the hands and hour markers standard polished clones?

A: No, the 3D baton hour markers and hands on this model undergo a full matte blacked-out treatment to contrast with the bright orange dial, and are filled with specialized dark or white Super-LumiNova.

Q: What is the main technical quirk to be aware of with this carbon modification?

A: The combination of the ultra-lightweight carbon case and the Clone 324 movement means that rotor noise is slightly more audible than in a standard solid steel case, as the less dense composite material provides less acoustic dampening.
