A: Out of the box, it is sealed for basic daily use (splash/rain proof). However, we strongly recommend a professional pressure test before swimming.
Q: Does the watch tick?
A: No. The 28mm Ballon Bleu (Gen and Rep) does not have a seconds hand. Therefore, there is no visible “ticking” motion, making it impossible to distinguish from the automatic version based on hand movement alone.
Q: What is the biggest difference compared to Gen?
A: The brilliance of the diamond markers. Under standard lighting, they sparkle beautifully. Under a jeweler’s loupe, the stone composition is the only variance. The steel finish and dial color are virtually indistinguishable.
